The Ohio State University football season is in full swing.
Being an alumni, of course I think the Buckeyes are the best team ever from the best University ever. So what does this have to do with RVing? Everything!
This is the only reference I have to true tailgating. I for one have never held my own tailgate at OSU. The work that goes into planning an outdoor party with no electric hook-ups is no small feat. I have, however, spent plenty of time eating, cheering and having tons of fun at a friend's or acquaintance's RV tailgate parties. A beautiful thing about tailgating at sports games, concerts, or anywhere else tailgating is possible, is that when groups of people come together for a common purpose, everyone becomes friends.
So from my experience as a tailgate guest, here are some tips for making your friends comfortable:
OSU has changed the RV rules slightly for game visitors - RVs are not permitted to enter the lots until 5am on game day - overnight guests will need to stay at the Ohio State Fairgrounds. For more details and maps, visit OSU Transportation and Parking.
