Opportunities abound for great transitional season adventures. Take September to squeeze what is left of Summer and welcome in all that is available in the Fall.

For some of you, September may feel like the end of your RV season. Children are back in school and for much of the country, the weather is starting to cool off.

Instead, try looking at September as a chance to enjoy what is best about the Summer and Autumn seasons. Take a weekend to the beach during one of the last warm days of the year or pack up the RV for a trip to the parking lot of your favorite football team and throw a tailgating party.

For those without children in school, September is a great time to travel to colder weather states to view early color changes in the leaves or go apple picking at your favorite orchard. Peak season has ended at many tourist destinations, which makes September a perfect month to head to theme or amusement parks, Florida or California coasts or New England shore towns to have the place nearly all to yourself. Walt Disney World even has a resort celebrating outdoor living: Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground!

Take this month to enjoy perfect sleeping weather in your RV and anticipate all the opportunities that exist to those who have a second home on wheels.
